Once again I'm guesting, along with friend of the site AJ Hakari, with Marcey and Bede on Superpodcast. In this episode we run down our 3 worst films of 2010, and then our 5 Best (along with honourable mentions). Superpodcast: Masters of the Universe commentary

So I'm back with Marcey and Bede, and fellow guests Nick Bosworth and Pat Torfe, on Superpodcast for a commentary which seems as though it's been months in the planning. The five of us sat down on Saturday to watch (and to mock the living shit out of) Masters of the Universe. You can listen to this track as a regular podcast, but you can also, if you've got a copy, sit down with you Masters DVD and sync us up with the picture (something which, admittedly, we had some amusing trouble with). It's chaotic track, but it was fun for us and I hope you'll enjoy it too.

LFF 2010: Podcast with Supermarcey

My LFF 210 coverage is (finally) coming to an end. I've got a few more review to write, and a wrap up feature to follow. Here, though, are the high and low points of my experience at this year's festival. I was joined by my good friend Marcey (writer from Arrow in the Head, Killer Film and her own site www.supermarcey.com) to discuss the fest by talking about my Top and Bottom 5 films from the 56 I saw.

As with all our podcasts it's quite long, sometimes rambling, sometimes digressive, but it was a fun conversation and should be an entertaining listen. Enjoy.

Super Podcast: Episode 39

Once again I'm guesting with my friend and fellow blogger Marcey (of the excellent Supermarcey.com) on her podcast.

This time out we discussed the sad passing of Satoshi Kon, before launching into a discussion about film criticism on the internet and Armond White's thoughts on young critics.

After talking about film criticism we did some, reviewing THE EXPENDABLES , SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD and THE KILLER INSIDE ME, before finishing up with some follow up to previous episodes that I had guested on.

Inception Podcast

Once again I'm guesting with the lovely and talented Supermarcey on her podcast. This is a short episode, a bit of an addendum to her forthcoming longer episode on Inception. We talked about Christopher Nolan in general and my feelings on Inception specifically, before briefly covering our part in the Blogathon I've been running recently.

Here's my third guest spot on Supermarcey's Superpodcast. It's a longer show than before, but then there are four people and we cover close to 30 movies. So, this afternoon, in a rather impressive feat of time zone juggling, I got together with two Aussies (Supermarcey and Bede Jermyn) and a Yank (AJ Hakari) and made my third appearence on Marcey's Superpodcast. Our topic this time out was

STINKERS OF THE 90'S

We each picked a Top 5 (I'm pleased to say I'd seen few of the picks on the other lists) and gave a couple of (dis)honourable mentions. There was also discussion of trousers (pants, sorry AJ) and bat nipples. I think it's likely to be a lot of fun once Marcey has it edited together. Superpodcast Episode 30

I was on Superpodcast with the excellent Supermarcey, and her semi-regular co-host Bede Jermyn, this week. Our topic was EPIC FAIL, and we discussed terrible movies from the past five years. First we each made a couple of honourable mentions, and then we ran down our Top 3 choices.



We talked shitty movies for about 70 minutes, and had a really good laugh doing so, which I think (I hope) translates into the listening experience.

Well, I've been trailing it for long enough and here it finally is. I've been talking with the lovely Supermarcey for a little while about appearing on and lowering the usualy extremely professional standard of her always entertaining and instructive Superpodcast.

The topic for this podcast (Episode 27) is "Why haven't you seen these films?" Each of us picked five great movies that you probably haven't seen, but should, to talk about. I think it's an interesting and entertaining hour. Thanks to Marcey for having me, I hope we'll do it again some time.
